RME-232 · Black Friday element 1 of the build order · BF-O39

The Don't be Sally end card, two versions

All 12 Black Friday videos end on this card, so it is the first element to build. In the storyboard the line is "Don't be Sally." and the picture is Sally's name card crossed through with one teal line. The one open question is whether it is a cut-out piece with the white sticker outline (A), or the words layer, which the style bible draws with no outline (B). The words and the beats are the same in both, so only the look differs.

The words on the card

  • Sally's name card: Sally Send, sally@send-more.example (the M-11 card, demo names library)
  • The line: Don't be Sally.
  • The link: reviewmyemails.com/get-started
  • The one sentence under it: Clean your first 1,000 addresses free.

The beats, the same in both: the card arrives with Sally's name card and "Don't be Sally." Then one teal line draws through her name, which is the point of the card. Then the line clears and the link comes in big with one sentence under it, the crossed name card stays as the picture, and it holds. One text block at a time, as the end card rule in the craft playbook says.

What I assumed: the series doc gives the end card only "Don't be Sally." and the picture, and each post still has "[Offer line goes here once YT picks one.]" So the call to action is the app, as CLAUDE.md rule 5 says: reviewmyemails.com/get-started and the first 1,000 addresses cleaned free. If you pick one of the four offers later, only the sentence under the link changes. Ideas 6, 7 and 10 end on a different line in their storyboards, so in those three the line swaps and the rest of the card stays.

A With the sticker outline: a cut-out sign in the scene

Sally's name card sits on top of one post, the words on a plate under it, one white outline round the whole piece (style bible rule 1). It folds up from the floor on its hinge like every other flat (rule 2), the camera settles in front of it, then it holds still.

Wide, 16:9 (LinkedIn feed, the Almanac videos)
Tall, 9:16 (reels and stories), at a phone screen's width

B No outline: a flat card in the words layer

The same card as one flat panel in front of the scene, like the subtitle card. No outline, and it never moves (the style bible's words layer), so it only fades in. The scene behind it is left empty here so you see the card alone.

Which end card do all 12 videos end on?

Built by review-kit/examples/bf-o39-end-card.gen.py. The piece is 01-library/assets/characters/cutout-style/bf-end-card.js (D-470 the kit, D-471 version A, D-472 version B). Sally's name card is the M-11 redraw piece from motion-redraw-3.js, not redrawn. Brand colours only. Sally Send and sally@send-more.example are from the demo names library. The wide frames fill the column, the tall frames are 390 px wide, the width of a phone screen. HTML only, no video render.
